6 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (27 April - Results & Review)

4. Just A Match

WWE Raw Rey Mysterio El Grande Americano II Ludwig Kaiser
WWE

If you’re deeply invested in the El Grande Americano versus Original El Grande Americano mask feud currently taking place mainly in AAA, you probably were rapt with attention for the El Grande versus Rey Mysterio match on Raw.

But if you couldn’t care less – other than to hope there’s a way for both men to lose so both unmask – this was just a subpar angle masquerading (get it?) as a subpar match, with Americano and Rey going through the motions of a competitive contest until Rayo tried to load up El Grande’s mask with the steel plate. Original El Grande intervened, which allowed Mysterio to put Americano II down with a 619 and Drop the Dime for the win.

Both El Grandes brawled afterward, which might be a big deal for AAA fans and viewers, but this is no buys here.
