Ups…

6. Ricochet Notches Win

Don’t worry, we’re not going to suddenly pretend that Ricochet is getting a push or being recognized for his talent and treated better on Raw.

The One and Only’s victory over AJ Styles on Monday night for a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match came with a pretty big assist from the Viking Raiders, who responded to two weeks of backstage taunts by putting Omos through a barricade mid-match. That payback served a couple of purposes: It showed the Raiders standing up to the much larger Omos, and it displayed that the big tag team is capable of putting him down for a bit.

It also served to distract Styles, who was in the midst of a pretty good back-and-forth match with Ricochet. AJ then went for the Phenomenal Forearm, only for Ricochet to counter with the Recoil for the win.

Sure, Ricochet is only being entered in the Money in the Bank match because of his in-ring talent – not because he’s favored to win – but we’ll take it for one night.
