2. KO Calls Out Stone Cold

Realistically, the idea that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin would come out of retirement after 19 years was a bit far-fetched, and we could give WWE grief for chattering internally about a potential match without lining the Hall-of-Famer up first.

But let’s face it: a verbal showdown between Austin and Kevin Owens could be pretty fantastic if given some time and freedom. KO has been taking shots at Texas nonstop for the past month, and Monday, he fired off some insults at Stone Cold, saying that he probably let himself go drinking beer, and noting how he had to wear knee braces just to get through a match 20 years ago, so he’d probably need a walker to get down to the ring at WrestleMania.

Of course, a verbal confrontation that’s scripted – or at least given parameters – by WWE’s cadre of writers could very easily be a disastrous mess, so this is a marginal “up” for now, and obviously nowhere near as exciting as it could have been.
