1. Strowman’s Reign Of Terror

Pop quiz: Name one good match from Braun Strowman’s five-month reign as WWE Universal Champion.

Answer: There is none. Strowman’s awful title reign featured a feud against John Morrison and The Miz, and a long rivalry with Bray Wyatt and his many alter egos. None of those matches were any good, and Sunday’s match wasn’t much better than the rest. The Falls Count Anywhere stipulation could have been used to greater effect, but it was probably better that the match was kept on the shorter side than being a long, wandering bout.

The only positive to note is that Braun’s dismal title run came to a conclusion, but it was in a way that made Strowman look like a moron, as he used a box cutter to rip up the mat and padding, exposing the wood, only for Fiend to slam Braun on it several times with a uranage and two Sister Abigails.

So while it’s a positive to get the title off Braun, his entire reign, combined with this disappointing match, make it an overall down.
