You can appreciate WWE’s writers for trying to raise the stakes of the feud between the Street Profits and Angel Garza & Andrade, but the poisoning angle didn’t work, and the payoff match itself on Sunday was a letdown.

The Profits retained the titles in a decent match that would have worked just fine on Raw. The match saw Montez Ford work the majority of the bout, but the climax came when he inadvertently knocked Zelina Vega off the apron. Andrade went to check on her and wasn’t in position to get a tag from Garza, leading to Angel to take the Cash Out for the loss.

So after Andrade & Garza diminished the Viking Raiders even more, they fell to the champs and now quite possibly will be back to arguing with each other on Raw in a never-ending “will they or won’t they break up?” deal.
