6 Ups & 7 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 17)

As per his sentencing from Wrestler's Court, Joey Ryan was forced into a match with Acey Romero this week, a bout that ticked all the boxes when it comes to a comedy wrestling match. From bell to bell, both men, as well as Johnny Swinger (who was providing commentary alongside Josh Mathews and Don Callis), produced something that you had to see with your own two eyes to fully appreciate.
'The King of Dong Style' found himself in a spot of bother here, seeing as Romero is twice his size. However, that didn't stop him from connecting with the world's largest D*ck Flip, which only came after Swinger had attempted to stop the move and placed Romero's hand on his groin instead. Ryan would overcome the odds to win the bout with a Sweet Tooth Music, and can now head back into the world of refusing to tag with 'The Swing Man'.
This was wonderful, no doubt about it. Anything other than a comedy match when you've got Joey Ryan vs. Acey Romero, especially given the way it was set up last week, would be a mistake. Unlike some of the other stories going on right now in Impact Wrestling, this is one that your writer wouldn't mind going on for longer (although it has more or less just started anyway). We could get something unforgettable from it, whether it's intended or not.
