6 Ups & 7 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 17)

1. Undeniable

Sami Callihan had promised to expose Tessa Blanchard for all that she really is during this week's episode of Impact, doing just that at the end of the show. Although 'The Draw' would state that Tessa had been handed everything throughout her career due to being Tully Blanchard's daughter while he had to scratch and claw for everything he ever got (something that Sami has already said time and time again), the segment played out beautifully.

Tessa, upon hearing enough of Sami, strutted on to the stage, only to be ambushed by Madman Fulton. After being saved by Ken Shamrock (he'll face Fulton on 12 January), Tessa took the fight to Callihan, with the pair's brawl spilling out of the venue on to the streets of New York City. Tensions between these two are at the highest possible point, as was evident when they used their surroundings against each other, including a moment when Tessa dove out the back of a truck into the current World Champion.

Blanchard vs. Callihan is undoubtedly one of the greatest rivalries going right now. Not just in Impact Wrestling, but in professional wrestling as a while. Every time they step into the ring with one another, whether it's for a match or a talking segment, you know you're in for a good time. Hard To Kill will be no different.

The only question that remains is whether or not the bout will go down as a clean fight, or will the other members of oVe get involved? For the benefit of being a history-making occasion, let's pray for the first choice.
