4. In For The Mixed Tag

The last couple weeks of the Miz/Edge feud was quite frankly subpar and disappointing, but Monday night’s offering was good enough to put things back on track.

Miz and Maryse started off flabbergasted at his loss at Day 1, with Miz continuing a funny bit where he screws up speaking French and his Canadian wife has to correct him. He then asked what kind of man hides behind his wife (crowd: “Miz!”) or relies on his wife to fight his battles (crowd: “Miz!”).

Then, when Maryse said she’d punch Beth Phoenix if she were in front of her, the Glamazon and Edge accommodated her, showing up to confront the It Couple. They then got to the point of challenging them to a mixed tag match at Royal Rumble, which is where we all knew this was going to end up.

And you know what? This was an entertaining segment, so we’ll give it its just due here.
