Now see, that’s a good way to build to your next title challenger.

Keith Lee returned after a month away to challenge Riddle, fresh off his loss last week to Bobby Lashley. While chatting with his opponent, Lee suggested that he could best Lashley in a one-on-one matchup. File that one away.

Shortly thereafter, Lee toppled Riddle in a competitive little match that featured some hard-hitting moves. Lee managed to absorb a Final Flash knee, only to nail a Spirit Bomb for the win. But his victory celebration was short-lived, as Lashley sneak-attacked both men after their fiery match. Lashley slapped a Hurt Lock on Riddle and nailed Lee with a hellacious spinebuster.

Just like that, we saw a powerhouse who was shortly sidelined return and then immediately get thrust into a United States Championship feud, with the champ laying him out – meaning he considers Keith a threat.

And an hour later, a triple threat was announced for Elimination Chamber. Easy, simple and set.
