6 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 37 - Night 2

While a good case could be made for any of the three men in the Universal Championship match, it’s hard to argue with WWE for continuing to ride the horse that is Roman Reigns.

Edge, Daniel Bryan and Reigns (and Jey Uso) had a solid, action-packed triple threat main event on Sunday night, and at various points it looked like any one of them could and would walk out of WrestleMania 37 with the title. But when Edge snapped near the end and hit a conchairto on Bryan, it looked like we were heading toward a rarity, with both Royal Rumble winners capturing the gold.

But Jey interfered, saving Roman, who then speared and blasted Edge with a conchairto of his own, then dragged the Rated-R Superstar’s lifeless corpse on top of Bryan for the double pin.

Some might say it demeaned both Bryan and Edge, but seriously, who can touch Reigns right now? The only way he was going to lose this match was if one of the other wrestlers pinned the other guy (the one not named Roman Reigns), and really, if that’s the case, they might as well just keep the title where it is right now.
