6 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 42 - Saturday (Results & Review)

4. Fatu Comes Through

When WWE books an unsanctioned match, you have to accept from the jump that it isn’t going to be the kind of violent, bloody affair you might see in AEW. But that shouldn’t count against this match, which delivered a hard-hitting plunder battle.

Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre both wielded chairs, but McIntyre took the prize when he continued his WrestleMania tradition of grabbing a cell phone and tweeting from the floor, but this time he used the phone as a weapon, which was tremendous fun.

The match served to put Fatu over, and it accomplished that very well. Jacob just effortlessly sprang around the ring with the Best Moonsault Ever twice, the second of which put Drew through a table for the win.

Like most of the matches on the night, this didn’t overstay its welcome and wasn’t offensive, so it merits positive marks.
