6 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 42 - Saturday (Results & Review)

UPS…

6. Plenty To Talk About

Just to quickly offer the other side of the main event closing sequence, there certainly is an argument in favor of everything that happened.

Put simply, a lot happened. Cody Rhodes tapped into a darker part of himself and didn’t hesitate to pull the trigger on Randy Orton. Meanwhile, Orton didn’t take losing too well, waffling Cody with the title and punting him, which sets up another confrontation between them.

Plus, both men bled, so there was that.

By the time Raw and SmackDown roll around, there should be plenty to discuss and unpack, which is a good sign in many ways. Plus, the fans in the stadium reacted pretty strongly to everything, which has got to also count for something.
