Braun Strowman’s squash victories during the past month have bene effective at re-establishing him as a powerful force in WWE rather than simply a Wyatt Family minion. But these bouts have a shelf life, and he’ll have to find a way to elicit a reaction from fans.

Monday, Strowman found a simple, yet effective way to do just that. After defeating a luchador named Americos, Braun reached down and pulled the wrestler’s mask off, immediately drawing rebukes from the announcers and boos from fans. Strowman was unfazed and paced around the ring holding up his trophy.

It was completely disrespectful to the lucha tradition and insulting to masked wrestlers, which considering this took place in Houston is why it was a perfect way to get fans to react to Strowman. Now he just needs to find a purpose…
