The story behind The Usos waiting years to get their first WrestleMania match in 2018 was undermined on the night due to the fact that they had to follow Ronda Rousey's remarkable debut match.
The Sports Entertainment masterpiece was impossible to top on the night, and Jimmy and Jey (along with The New Day and The Bludgeon Brothers) were forced to be the first to try. Much the same could be said about yet another multi-team match for the SmackDown Tag Titles the following year.
Though the banger hadn't yet occurred, the magic was in the air for two Championship matches that actually mattered, and this wasn't one of them.
All of the line-up brought a version of their A-games - The Bar, Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev and especially Ricochet & Aleister Black had loads to offer in small doses, but little of it registered - a reserved New Jersey audience wanted something more substantial than anything they could possibly offer.
