One of the things that set Bray Wyatt’s new persona off is that it seemed to exist almost in an alternate WWE reality.

Wyatt didn’t interact with other wrestlers in “the real world”; only The Fiend would show up. And his Firefly Funhouse segment was a psychotic Mister Rogers Neighborhood that didn’t really fit into the typical WWE narrative.

So what happened Sunday night? A special “TLC edition” of the funhouse kicked off the PPV, only for it to be revealed as an preview package for the night’s matches. Yes, Bray Wyatt was shilling for WWE’s PPV through his Firefly Funhouse.

Seriously. What. The. Hell.

Talk about not understanding what sets a character apart. Put it this way: Would you ever see The Undertaker open a PPV and do a pre-recorded package for all the bouts that night? Would the Funeral Parlor become a shill station for the upcoming card?

No. Because that would be stupid and render Taker as just another goof on the roster.
