Bayley was the other NXT superstar to be interviewed backstage on this week's episode, and like Aries, she managed to pull it off just by feeling like she really meant what she was saying. Not to beat a dead horse, but that's pretty rare in today's WWE, and the stars who can do it stand out from the rest.
Bayley was asked for her thoughts on next week's Asuka-Eva Marie match, and she offered them, saying that despite Asuka's abilities, Eva Marie has come a long way and shouldn't be taken lightly. She closed by reminding Asuka that she's still on the hunt for the Women's Championship, and she'll be coming for the title she once held.
Not only was the promo well-delivered, but it treated wrestling like it was real. Bayley gave an accurate assessment of her rivals' abilities, then reminded us that she's still burning to get her title back. It was simple and successful.
