6 Ups And 2 Downs From WWE NXT (May 25)

2. The Million Dollar Face-Off

LA Knight Ted DiBiase

Cameron Grimes is getting a lot from his rags-to-riches story. Here, he somehow went from unlikable braggart to sympathetic figure in just one segment, and the guy made it look easy. Of course, backup in the form of 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase helped big time.

Ol' Teddy still has it.

He turned back the clock with some mic magic during this face-to-face, and even left with LA Knight. It'll be interesting to see if DiBiase becomes Knight's new manager or if this was just a one-off designed to push LA's simmering issues with Grimes. Regardless, it was solid.

Everybody involved played their roles to the hilt. Cameron sorta' came out as the babyface of the piece, DiBiase showed he still has some gas in the tank, and Knight is an insufferable jock jerk who'd believably look down on someone like Grimes.
