3. Franky Monet’s In-Ring Debut

That's not to say that occasional squashes can't work out.

They can, and Franky Monet proved it by slaying Cora Jade in approx three minutes. This match was exactly what it needed to be - Franky looked like a real star, her offensive flurries were on point and that finish she's rocking is a winner. Also, credit to Beth Phoenix for yelling out, "That looks familiar".

Yes, Monet's finisher is the old 'Glam Slam', but that's fine. Borrowing a few other things from the Phoenix playbook wouldn't be a bad idea either. Yours truly has always wondered what an in-her-prime Beth would've looked like in today's female ranks. Maybe Franky can fill that void by becoming an alpha female herself.

There's always a worry that vignette-heavy wrestlers will fail when they eventually step foot inside the ring (Eva Marie, for example). Nothing to worry about with this one though! Franky looked ready to establish herself as a star in this division.
