6 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Mar 16th)
Two more title matches made for TakeOver: Dallas!
Last week, NXT presented an astounding episode of their TV program - after a double pin in a previous match, Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe clashed one more time for number one contendership to the NXT Championship. This time, the bout was a two out of three falls match, and Joe ended up taking the victory in 43:08. He'll go on to face Finn Balor for the title at TakeOver: Dallas. This week - with only 16 days left until the April 1 Dallas show - the card continued to take shape. Number one contenders to the Women's and Tag Team Championships were determined, and other programs that will continue at (or past) the TakeOver special were promoted. There were a some home runs and some strikeouts, but overall, the program served up an entertaining hour of wrestling. From here on out, I'll take a look at each week's episode of NXT. I'll single out some moments that I thought really worked, and others that didn't. I won't be attempting to bury the product - after all, even a weak episode of NXT blows most of Raw out of the water - just offering some insight. If you missed the show, here's a chance to catch up, and if you saw it, leave your opinions in the comments!
