6 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown (Sept 3)

2. Cesaro Keeps Losing

Cesaro lost clean at SummerSlam to Kevin Owens. Then he lost to him again on Raw. This week on Smackdown he faced Sheamus and guess what...yep...Cesaro lost again. Is this the best way to book one of the most popular guys on the roster that is also one of the most skilled in the ring? Nope. Wins and losses aren't the most important thing in wrestling, but if somebody is booked to lose on nearly every show that's something that can hurt him big time. Cesaro had all this momentum a few months back from headlining Raw with John Cena in a great match. Now he's the guy that can have awesome matches, yet he's unable to get those wins that are needed to break through. The match with Sheamus was very good and I'll mention it in the ups section as well, but the booking of Cesaro always feels like WWE taking one step forward and then two steps back.
