Not giving NXT Women's Champion a minute to drink in her epic victory over Dakota Kai at Sunday's TakeOver 36 event, former NXT UK Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray quickly made her presence known as the dust was settling.

Sure enough, she was the talk of the division coming into last night's show and when given the opportunity to show off her unique brand of savagery, she did not disappoint. Stripping away Valentina Feroz's feathers as she rag-dolled and yanked her around the squared-circle, Ray brings a level of legitimately frightening intensity to just about everything she does, be that locking in an armbar or front suplexing someone into oblivion.

Before long she was celebrating an impressive 'W' on the black and gold show on the back of a delicious Gory Bomb, but will Ray be next in line to Gonzalez's throne? Or will she have to wait for the likes of Franky Monet (judging from this week's exchange between Big Mami Cool and the newest Robert Stone Brand member) or a revitalised Io Shirai down the road?

Her future isn't entirely clear, but that won't stop her kicking ass in the interim.
