6 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's NXT (22 Apr)

It's not exactly been by the book, but NXT has accidentally made a bit of a star in the midst of all this. In fact, you might even say he puts the S, T, A, and R in "stare". I'm here all week.

As I mentioned last week, this gimmick is an absolute god-send for empty arenas and it's no surprise they look to be pushing him way, way in advance of where he should be on the show. My prediction was a random squash on Raw or SmackDown, but the main event of NXT is easily a bigger deal.

It doesn't make any sense, of course, but nothing does at the moment. Everyone's enjoying this surreal, silent assassin on TV at the moment and any program they decide to put him in is going to be better as a result. If there's been anybody who's "maximised their minutes" during all of this it's this man, and a massive round of applause is due for how well he's acquitted himself under the circumstances.
