6 Ups And 4 Downs From NXT Roadblock 2023

Ups…

6. Sloppy, But Spirited

It was really hard to decide how to rate the six-man tag match. On the one hand, the faces worked hard and pulled off some impressive high spots despite their size. On the other hand, this match had Jinder Mahal in it.

The match itself was really sloppy, with several moments where you could see Indus Sher and Jinder stumbling about a bit, with the Creed Brothers and Bron Breakker also trying to stay on track with their offense.

However, both teams hit each other hard and tried to maim the other, which at least fit with the rivalry itself. For once, Vic Joseph made a great point when he noted that Bron and the Creeds were resorting to moves they normally wouldn’t try, but they needed to in a battle with Indus Sher, who were bigger brutes. Hence the triple dives to the floor and the Brutus Ball/electric chair combo to finish.

If this was a WWE PLE match, it would be a “down” for its sloppiness. But it gets a pass considering the circumstances.
