There’s a good reason why Shinsuke Nakamura is called the King of Strong Style. The (now former) NXT champ peppered Bobby Roode with kicks and knee strikes throughout their match, with the Glorious One responding in kind in a hard-hitting title bout.

The two pros had an excellent match that started slowly and built into a frenzy at the end, with Roode countering Nakamura’s mindgames with his own. Bobby didn’t fall for Shinsuke’s tricks and ultimately capitalized on an injured knee to capture the NXT Championship and end Nakamura’s second title reign.

The match had fans freaking out at various points and out of their seats throughout, so that’s all you really need to know. There’s no reason to try to describe the match, just go check it out.
