The NXT TakeOver specials have followed a set pattern since they debuted nearly three years ago: solid might after solid match. There typically is a shortage of other antics during an NXT special event.

Saturday, NXT continued that tradition, with one major change: Seth Rollins. The former NXT and WWE champ stormed the ring and grabbed the mic, declaring that he was taking over NXT until Triple H came out to a huge reaction. Despite being called out on his own turf, Hunter simply gestured to security to help escort Rollins away.

That led to huge boos from the crowd, but it did a hell of a lot to make Rollins into a likable hero chasing after the evil boss, even willing to confront him on his ground. This will probably get replayed a bunch on Raw Monday night.
