If you were in the prediction business, you probably had a hard time picking a winner in the WWE Championship match. Both men had a strong case for winning the bout and walking out with the title.

Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre opened WrestleMania 37 and went right at each other with heavy bombs. Rather than both men spamming finishers, it was a real heavyweight battle , with McIntyre hitting everything in his arsenal except the Claymore, including a dive to the floor that someone his size should not be able to perform. Lashley was all power moves all night.

In the end, Lashley caught Drew with the Hurt Lock and managed to keep it on until McIntyre passed out. It was a pretty good match, with a surprising ending – in that Drew worked on Lashley’s arm and it didn’t factor into the finish.

But overall, a pretty damn good opening match and all you could ask for from these two.
