6 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 18)

4. Constable Topples Too Sweet

It looks like WWE isn’t done trying to push Baron Corbin as a serious threat.

After he was shunted off to an office job as Raw constable, Corbin seemed destined to be a figurehead rather than a wrestler. But he was put in a tag match alongside Kevin Owens against Braun Strowman and Finn Balor. And then Baron hung with Braun and defeated Finn, pinning him after an End of Days.

Sure, Corbin looks more intimidating without the lame, thinning hair, but a new haircut and clothing doesn’t suddenly make you a major player – or maybe it does. Corbin won the match cleanly, which is a bit of a surprise. You’d think the heel authority figure would have pulled the tights or done something to gain the win.

But no, Corbin, who has been less than impressive to this point, got a win over Balor and Strowman. Where is this going? Does WWE even know?
