6 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night’s WWE Raw (April 6th)

Now that AJ Lee has walked away from WWE, it's obvious the company has inserted Naomi into her spot in the feud between Paige and The Bellas. At the midway point of the show we got a tag match between the four ladies that featured nearly as many botches as actual wrestling maneuvers. While Brie has never been a good worker, Nikki has shown definite improvement, however not much of that was on display in this match. The bout was mostly used as a plot device to tease a split between the twins. If this were to happen, there doesn't seem to be a preferable outcome for the feud. After all, they've already ran this once before with Brie as the face and it died such a miserable death that they aborted the angle, turned Brie back heel and aligned her with Nikki once again with no explanation whatsoever. Conversely, Nikki is such an awesome natural heel - both on Raw and Total Divas - that any attempt to make her the face between the sisters would likely be met with even more disinterest. Honestly the best thing for the Bellas is to keep them together doing exactly what they're doing, soaking up boos as the mean girls of the WWE who the fans want to see taught a lesson. No one is buying either of these girls as faces, unless you stick Brie with Bryan again which would be a terrible move for the Intercontinental champ/ As far as Naomi goes, she's definitely looked better than she did in this match and had several rough patches, but I guess when the girl's entire offense is based on bumping her *ss around like a Nicki Minaj stage show we shouldn't expect all that much.
