6 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night’s WWE Raw (April 6th)

4. A Rift In The Authority

Is there anyone who wants to see a Business Casual Kane face turn? At this point in his career the best thing for Kane is to play a much more reduced role, stop being used in main events and elevate younger talent. But with the dissension developing among the members of The Authority in Triple H and Stephanie's absence, it feels like WWE are planting seeds toward a babyface run for The Devil's Favorite Director. If that leads to any kind of feud between Seth Rollins and Kane it's a lose-lose scenario for the new champ as well as the fans. The last thing Seth needs halting his momentum is getting tied up in a feud with a heatkiller like Kane. After all, we saw how well that worked out having The Big Red Machine as Daniel Bryan's first challenger after winning the WWE title at WrestleMania 30. Dissolving The Authority - as least in its current form - is a fine idea, but hopefully if and when it happens it won't lead to The AuthorityPowers Explode! There's far too many guys on the roster who should be getting those important roles.
