6 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 24)

4. B-Team Better Lucky Than Good

For the past couple months, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas have been falling ass-backward into wins on Raw. They’ve stumbled into victories and rode that lucky wave all the way to the Raw Tag Team Championships.

Monday, that wave carried them through a rematch with the Deleters of Worlds, as Bray Wyatt inadvertently bowled into Matt Hardy, allowing Axel to pin his opponent for the title defense. It was the latest in a string of “accidental” wins by the duo, but they’ve been getting better at setting them up. In this case, things broke down and Axel capitalized on a miscue.

But before that, the B-Team was hanging in their match. They weren’t outclassed and slipped on a banana peel to win. They were in the match and still had a chance when things went awry.

Still, sooner or later, they will have to win on their own… unless the entire gimmick is to ride the lucky wave until someone (*coughcough*Authors of Pain*coughcough*) demolish them for the tag titles.
