6 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 11)

1. Selling The Main Event

Paul Heyman was right: He was trying to sell fans on something that is already sold. The No Mercy main event between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman is a must-see match.

But that hasn’t stopped WWE from plugging the hell out of it, and Monday was no exception. Heyman laid out how Brock is the underdog in this match, but that the last time he was in that position was WrestleMania XXX against the Undertaker.

Heyman then called out Braun, who obliged. Lesnar’s German suplex was no-sold, which was a perfect moment, complete with Brock’s stunned look. Strowman would leave the Universal Champion laid out, an unfamiliar position for the Beast.

If all of that doesn’t make you want to see this match, then you really have no business calling yourself a pro wrestling fan.
