6 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Elimination Chamber 2018

5. Banks Finally Turns On Bayley

As much as fans love cheering for her, let’s face it: Sasha Banks is way better as a villainess.

Banks took a step in that direction Sunday night when she finally stabbed her best friend Bayley in the heart, booting her off the top of an Elimination Chamber pod during the women’s match. It remains to be seen whether the two try to patch things up on Raw, but it was about time that the “every woman for herself” motif finally led to something more than a “in the heat of battle” confrontation. This was a blatant attack at a time when it wasn’t necessary – other than to put down your friend.

If this leads to a heated rivalry about pride and superiority, then that could make for a really good WrestleMania match. They’ve gelled well in the past as rivals, and a heel Banks would provide a wrinkle in the women’s division.
