True, Alexa Bliss had the advantage of studying 20 previous Elimination Chamber matches to see how heel champions avoided fighting and fled, but the Goddess definitely was unique in her route.

Bliss first tried to keep the pod door shut before scaling the cage and trying to run away from Sasha Banks and Bayley. When she was cornered, she tried to drop down, only to have to climb again to escape. She continued to pick her spots, ultimately taking advantage of a downed Banks to roll up Bayley for a pinfall.

And then, after overcoming the odds and retaining her title, Bliss started to deliver a “dare to dream” promo inspiring the girls in attendance, before snapping back to reality and telling the fans that none of them would ever accomplish their dreams. It was a perfect return to arrogance for the woman who was fleeing for her life just minutes earlier.
