Anyone paying attention could have called Beth Phoenix showing up to even the numbers and help her husband Edge at Day 1. And that’s not a negative.

However, we’ve gotta deduct points due to WWE’s production team, which must’ve missed their cue to hit the Glamazon’s music.

Maryse had just waffled Edge with her purse to give her husband the Miz the advantage when Miz pointed up the rampway. Everyone turned (including the camera) to reveal a snarling and glaring Phoenix, who stood there motionless with the camera fixed tight on her with nothing happening for what seemed like forever. Then finally her music played and Beth made a beeline for the ring and stalked off Maryse, allowing Edge to spear and beat Miz in a match that underwhelmed.

The idea was solid, but the awkward pause with the match coming to a screeching halt right at the point it should have hit its crescendo because everyone was waiting for the music was just bad. It also didn't help that the match itself was pretty pedestrian itself. It was a Miz match, after all...
