WWE Day 1 RK-Bro Street Profits

There’s nothing wrong with the occasional straight wrestling match where one team is just better than the other.

That’s what we got at Day 1 when RK-Bro defeated the Street Profits in a perfectly acceptable wrestling match. The bout wasn’t as dazzling as the SmackDown tag title match, but the two teams put in a solid showing. Montez Ford was his usual entertaining self, and Randy Orton seems to be revelling in the crowd adulation lately, playing to the fans and getting into it.

The finish saw Ford miss a frogsplash attempt, roll through and have Riddle pop him up into an RKO. Afterward, both teams showed respect, which is nice to see. And for the Street Profits, the duo won two matches to get this title shot, so while they fell short, they at least have some wins in their recent history.
