Let’s see if we’ve got this straight: Mick Foley was super-concerned about Sami Zayn’s wellbeing and was convinced that he can’t beat Braun Strowman, so he refused to book a match between the two. Because Strowman is so dangerous that he will seriously injure Zayn.

Meanwhile, Foley continued to book Strowman against hapless chum like R-Truth and Curtis Axel… because it clearly didn’t matter if Braun seriously injured them. But that’s only one strike here. Foley also refused to book Zayn, which then led Sami to basically decide there’s no reason for him to be on Raw. And then Mick agreed and said he’d call Daniel Bryan to work out a trade to SmackDown.

Oh wait, it was all a clever ruse to psych up Zayn for a confrontation with Strowman at Roadblock. By “psych up,” WWE apparently meant yell a lot. It was a nice try, but it didn’t really click. Oh, and another thing…
