6 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Aug 7)

3. Brock Runs Amok

The moment Paul Heyman asked if Miz and Maryse liked to role play, you had to know where this was going… especially with a PG show.

Miz played with fire when he cut Heyman off and ran down Brock and Paul spectacularly, telling them “good riddance to bad rubbish” after Lesnar loses at SummerSlam. And so when Paul assigned the roles of Brock’s SummerSlam opponents to Miz and the Miztourage, you knew revenge was coming.

And Brock didn’t disappoint, running through all three men with clotheslines, German suplexes and F-5s in rapid succession. Sure, he won’t be able to do that to Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman, but it certainly looked impressive enough and opened up Raw with a bang.
