When it comes to WWE and injuries, you have to wonder how much is storyline and how much is reality. The company isn’t immune from exaggerating or flat-out fictionalizing an injury to further an angle.

But it looks like the injury to Braun Strowman, reported on Raw as a “shattered elbow,” might have some reality to it. Initially, it was reported that Strowman would be out for about six weeks, not six months as was reported. Even though several wrestling sites seem to be taking it at face value, you’ve got to hope everyone’s getting played a bit and that this falls under the “exaggeration” category.

If true, it’s a huge blow to WWE, losing their quickest-rising star just as his popularity was peaking. If it’s not and WWE is cooling him off, then they’re either evil geniuses or idiots. Time will tell.
