3. Crews Steps Up

Oh dear God, is it finally going to happen?

Ever since he was called up to the main roster more than two years ago, Apollo Crews has floundered on Raw and SmackDown, getting very few opportunities to shine, despite seemingly unlimited potential.

Monday, Crews came out to interrupt Elias because he “figured it was my turn.” He then noted that he has spent too much time in the back keeping his mouth shut and temper in check while other wrestlers like Elias passed him by. Apollo noted that he wasn’t going to sit idly by any longer.

And with that, he snapped off an enzigiri and then press-slammed the troubadour. It was a small moment overall, but for Crews, it could be huge. He has done nothing as part of Titus Worldwide, and if he’s finally stepping out of the shadows and going to do something, well, there’s no time like the present.

Let’s see if this amounts to anything next week, or if it’ll be forgotten, or if he’ll just job to Elias.
