5. With Apologies To All Bellas Fans
But this is going to get repeated week in and week out as long as the Bellas continue to try to straddle both sides of the fence: Pick a side and stick with it. Maybe Nikki Bella looks at John Cena and thinks that a 50/50 reaction can be a good thing. Theres one big problem with that: Cena is the biggest star in WWE and is widely respected, even among his detractors. The Bellas, improved though they might be, are not mega-stars and the best in the company at their craft. They could be excellent heels, but constantly doing little babyface tics playing face-in-peril, enticing clapping from the crowd, etc. only serves to confuse fans about whether they should boo or cheer, not do both. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPFN9cVmdWg Case in point, during Nikkis match against Sasha Banks, notice the difference between the times each was on offense. During Sashas moves, she got some pretty good cheers. Nikkis time by comparison seemed much quieter, with fans somewhat booing and somewhat cheering/clapping. It was quiet because they didnt know what to do.
