6 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (May 14)

On the opposite end of the Shield spectrum, witness the rebirth of Seth Rollins.

As much as fans on Monday night could barely contain their disdain for Roman Reigns, they were 100% behind Rollins, completely captivated by his Intercontinental Championship defense against Kevin Owens. Rollins and KO had a barn-burner of a match, trading finisher attempts, countering aerial moves and generally beating the hell out of each other.

Rollins got the win with an opportunistic Blackout stomp, making him look like he was better on this night, but fortunate to win. That kind of performance is what fans respond to so strongly, and yet he’s not in the Universal Championship picture.

It really is ridiculous to see Seth having the best matches night in and night out and not be elevated, but maybe that day will come soon enough. For now, just enjoy the show.
