6 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (May 14)

4. Were They Saying Boo-Reigns?

“A typical United Kingdom reception for Roman Reigns.”

If by that, Corey Graves meant “getting booed out of the building,” then yes, that’s a typical UK reaction for the Big Dog. Reigns was “serenaded” by the London fans (as Michael Cole put it), unanimously booed throughout his promo and his subsequent fight with Jinder Mahal.

This wasn’t just a “it’s cool to boo Roman,” it was a steady, merciless booing that transitioned to a “Hey, hey, hey, goodbye,” when he left. Newsflash: When fans cheer when the GM tells you that you get no more opportunities to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match, you’re not the babyface.

Too bad WWE hasn’t gotten the memo yet.
