4. Is There An Endgame?

Some fans will be inclined to say we should wait and let things play out to see how WWE handles the entire storyline, but we’re going to give a little skepticism here.

Sami Zayn’s booking woes have been documented in these columns in recent months, and his “victory” over Braun Strowman last month was hardly something to write home about. So his annihilation in a Last Man Standing match Monday night certainly wasn’t a scrapbook-worthy moment either.

But what is the plan with Zayn? Is WWE trying to turn him into the ultimate underdog by having him pick on the biggest guy on the Raw roster and then have him get decimated? Or is he just the guy who tries to get Strowman over by being a human punching bag?

There just isn’t enough faith that WWE knows exactly what it’s doing long-term here, so we’re just going to give a negative mark for saddling the ridiculously talented and popular Zayn in this type of angle for right now.
