3. Corbin On The Rise

What. The. Hell.

If you’re looking for an example of WWE’s confusing, frustrating booking, look no further than charisma vacuum Baron Corbin defeating roving troubadour Elias Monday night.

Corbin had been on a downward spiral of late, losing his TLC match to an injured Braun Strowman, losing his job, losing a match to get his GM position back, and losing a battle royal for an Intercontinental Championship match. Elias had defeated Bobby Lashley twice in a row and was looking like he had moved on possibly to new things.

So naturally, Corbin won the match cleanly, because Elias didn’t need momentum, and Corbin needed a win to reignite his once-blazing career. Oh wait, Corbin is a legit snoozefest. Nevermind.

Seriously, who books this crap?
