So that’s why Shane McMahon defeated Miz at Money in the Bank. He had to be kept strong for Roman Reigns.

McMahon came out to jaw with Reigns as SmackDown invaded Raw for no real reason other than to have this segment (gotta love the Wild Card Rule™), and Roman observed that his schedule was free now. But Shane passed on fighting Roman on Raw, instead opting to face him at Super Showdown (you know, the show that will rival WrestleMania).

So Roman Reigns, the guy who has beaten both Brock Lesnar and Undertaker – a feat only Triple H has accomplished this decade – and beaten cancer, is now going to have to treat Shane McMahon as a prize and a threat.

The ego is strong in the McMahon family.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
