6 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 14)

2. Street Profits Get Rude Introduction

For months, the Street Profits have been the unofficial hosts of Raw, showing up while still NXT Tag Team Champions and hyping the show.

It was a double-edged sword: The exposure made them recognizable (and likable) to the Raw audience, but you had tag champs just hyping someone else’s matches rather than competing themselves.

That all looks to change, as Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford were drafted to Raw last week, and they immediately found themselves on the wrong end of an OC beatdown Monday night. The trio interrupted their latest hype session and welcomed them to Raw, then questioned why they were drafted… and then quickly dropped the former NXT tag champs.

Later, the Profits very clearly responded that they would tangle with The OC soon – as soon as they can grab a partner to even the odds, which shows they’re smarter than half the wrestlers on the Raw roster.
