1. Viking Raiders Pillage Tag Titles

Sure, they could have made the Viking Raiders look like killers by having them squash Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, but WWE did the right thing Monday night in putting the Raw Tag Team Championships on Erik & Ivar.

The bearded duo have been on the main roster for about six months, but only really started getting a major push in the past three months, when they began squashing enhancement talent. More recently, the Raiders decisively defeated The OC in a mini-feud that showed off Erik & Ivar’s abilities against “name” wrestlers.

Monday’s victory was solid, with Erik kicking out of a spinebuster/Zig-Zag combo and Ivar saving after a Glorious DDT. It will be interesting to see where the tag division goes from here, with a strong, established, no-nonsense team running roughshod over things.

Could Authors of Pain be knocking on their door soon?
