6 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 14)

1. Burn This Angle Down

We need to perform an emergency surgery to separate Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt. They’re killing each other!

The feud between the two has become an utter sideshow disaster, and not in the “so bad, it’s good” way. You’d think after Hell in a Cell, things would have bottomed out, but no. You’d think after The Fiend popped up from under the ring and pulled Rollins down (and threw him back up) on SmackDown, that would have been the bottom, but no.

Monday, Rollins decided he was done being attacked and would hunt down Wyatt and his Firefly Funhouse. That actually sounded like a good idea, something a normal person would do after being attacked for weeks on end.

But Rollins’ attack during a Funhouse segment was treated as being internally consistent with the Funhouse world – there were strange camera cuts and cartoonish sound effects for punches and crashes. Then, Seth looked at the camera and said, “Burn it down,” and lit the set on fire.

No, seriously. That happened. WWE probably thought it would come across as dark, but it looked goofy – and you could hear the live audience boo as Raw went off the air.

Sounds about right.
