Who would've thought that Chris Jericho would be one of Raw's most enjoyable performers in 2016? Moreover, who would've thought that one of his career's most enjoyable periods would come through an alliance with a guy who wasn't even on WWE's radar a few years ago?

Jeri-KO are tremendous together. The WWE talk show segment format is tried and contrived, but their interactions are never anything less than entertaining. When Jericho adds new name to his list or insists that Dean Ambrose still owes him $17k, you're compelled to both laugh and slap him in the face at the same time. Owens, meanwhile, is Jericho's natural successor on the mic, and a truly world-class talker who stands head and shoulders above most peers.

Enzo & Cass came-out to set-up the main event, and while nothing to write home about, the match was fine. Owens claiming the decisive pinfall after weeks of unconvincing finishes was key, and re-establishes him as a true winner at the top of the card. There's much work to be done to make his Universal Title reign truly meaningful, but this was a step in the right direction.

It's hard to tell where this alliance is going, but who cares? Jericho and Owens are on-fire together.
