There’s no faking the emotion that Bayley and Sasha Banks displayed after becoming the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The two wrestlers are both former Raw Women’s Champions and NXT Women’s Champions. They’ve been a big part of the resurgence of women’s wrestling in WWE, so it’s only fitting that they hold the new tag titles first. They did so in an Elimination Chamber match that underperformed in the first half but ramped up as things wore on.

Banks, who was barely able to wrestle the past several weeks, ended up saving her team with a unique application of the Banks Statement to tap out Sonya Deville. It was a great reversal from recent weeks where Bayley carried the duo.

Afterward, both women were basically speechless in a live in-ring interview, which was genuine as they soaked in the cheers.
